Senior Agriculture Economist and Research Consultant || Thematic Lead: Agriculture & Food Security
Christine has 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing research and evaluation projects. With a background as a social scientist and agricultural economist, she works at the intersection of agricultural and social development and policy processes. Her fields of expertise include multi-stakeholder initiatives in agri-food value chains, agricultural advisory services, rural and agricultural labour, inequality and social protection policies. Her regional focus is on Latin America and East and West Africa, where she gathered extensive fieldwork experience. She specialises in combining quantitative and qualitative approaches to data collection and analysis. She holds a PhD from the University of Hohenheim, where she is currently a post-doctoral researcher. She has business proficiency in English, Spanish, French, and German.
